Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
Weekly adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in Glengoole Church on Wednesday from 10.00 to 8.00 and Gortnahoe Church on Thursday from 10.00 to 7.00. We encourage as many as possible to visit Jesus.
Collection for the Missions
Annual Collection for the Missions will be taken up next week-end, Sat. & Sun. 14th & 15th November. Envelopes for the Collection were distributed at the beginning of the year. Please give generously to this special Collection.
In November we Remember!
November Family Mass is in Glengoole Church on this Sunday 8th November at 10.00. The Theme is “In November we Remember”. It is a special time each year to remember our dead, especially those who died during the past year. You can light a special candle for them at the Mass. Children also put their memory Stars on the special November tree.
Parish Development Fund 400 Club Draw
New Year of Parish Development Fund 400 Club Draw: It is all systems go now for everyone who wishes to be part of the new year of the 400 Club. The Draw is confined to 400 members, who have paid the subscription for the year and all the draws. Meet your promoter now with the €50.00 . Next meeting of promoters is Monday 9th Nov. in Gortnahoe at 8.30. Come along.
Conference Meeting and Annual Mass
St. Vincent de Paul Society Conference Meeting and Annual Mass will be in Ballysloe School on Monday night 9th November at 7.30. Come along.
World Youth Day 2016
Pope Francis has issued an invitation to young people of faith to join him at World Youth Day (WYD) in Krakow, Poland from July 25th to 31st 2016. A group from the archdiocese will be going to participate in this historic gathering. If you are aged between 18 and 30 and would like the opportunity to travel in July 2016 contact Fr. Gortnahoe-Glengoole Juvenile G.A.A. Club thanks Cnoc Wind Farm most sincerely for their recent donation to our U16s. The club will hold a Table Quiz in Mary Willies on Friday 4th December, so please keep this date free come along to a fun night out.
