Parish Carol Service
The Parish Carol Service will be on this Sunday 13th December, in Gortnahoe Church at 7.00. A very warm welcome to all our parishioners.

Ballynonty Area Mass
Area Mass at Ballynonty Community House will be on this Monday 14th with Confessions at 7.30 and Mass at 8.00. A warm welcome to all.

Christmas Confessions
Special Christmas Confessions with Evening Mass will be on this Thursday 17th Dec. with a visiting priest; in Glengoole, Confessions from 6.30. Mass 7.00. Gortnahoe Confessions from 7.30. Mass 8.00. Come along.

Christmas Collection for Priests
Annual Priests Christmas Collection will be taken up next week-end, Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th December, We ask for a generous response from all. Envelopes for the Collection were distributed at the beginning of the year. Usual Collectors please attend. Arrears should be contributed.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
Weekly adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in Glengoole Church on Wednesday from 10.00 to 8.00 and Gortnahoe Church on Thursday from 10.00 to 7.00. We encourage as many as possible to visit Jesus.

Senior Citizens Christmas Dinner on Sunday December 20
Gortnahoe Senior Citizens Postponed Christmas Dinner will be on Sunday next 20th December at 1.00. A warm welcome to all.

Parish Annual – a wonderful book
Gortnahoe-Glengoole Parish Annual a wonderful book for just €10.00. Make sure you get copies, in the Churches, the Post Offices and the shops for yourself and for sending to friends away from home.

St. Vincent de Paul Society local Conference
There will be a meeting on Monday night in Ballysloe School at 7.30. Also anyone interested in volunteering for Bag Packing on Thursday or Friday 17th & 18th please contact any member of the Society as soon as possible. Sincerest thanks for all the support we are receiving within the parish.

Christmas Bingo
The Gortnahoe Christmas Bingo will take place on Saturday 19th December. Over €2,500 in Prizemoney, plus bonus and lucky sheet. Support.

Ballyboys’ November hair challenge thanks
The Ballyboys Committee sincerely thanks everyone who took part and supported the Ballyboys November hair challenge. It was a HUGE success and raised €13,800. We will give €4,600 each to three charities, Suir Haven, Thurles, Cancer Care, Clonmel & Breast Cancer Research.

Operation Transformation Glengoole Group for 2016
An Operation Transformation Glengoole Group for 2016 will be hosted in the MFRC in January. The group will be facilitated by a trained fitness instructor – weigh in and walk on Monday mornings for ten weeks. Those interested please contact us on 052 9157992.
