Feast of the Epiphany
Wednesday next, 6th January is the Feast of the Epiphany, a holy day of obligation. Masses in Gortnahoe on Tuesday at 7.45 and on Wednesday at 11.15. Masses in Glengoole on Tuesday at 6.30 and on Wednesday at 10.00.

Collection for the decoration of Church Sanctuaries
The Annual Collection for the decoration of Church Sanctuaries is being taken up this week-end, 2nd and 3rd January. Let your generous support show your appreciation of the beautiful decoration of the sanctuaries in both Churches each week..
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will again be in Glengoole Church on Wednesdays from 10.00 to 8.00 and in Gortnahoe Church on Thursdays from 10.00 to 7.00. Please come along to venerate Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.
Sincerest Thanks
Sincerest thanks to all who so kindly have distributed the annual supply of Collection Envelopes throughout the parish. The weather over the past few days has not been suitable for such a task, so we understand all delays in the distribution and welcome the names from distributers of any we have overlooked.
World Youth Day - Poland 2016
Pope Francis extends a very warm welcome to young people to join him at World Youth Day in Krakow, Poland from 25th to 31st July 2016. Fr. Dominic Meehan, C.C. Templemore will be in charge of the group going from our archdiocese. He welcomes all enquiries by post or at 085 1111 320
Ballyboys Vehicle Run
Thanks to all who participated in the Annual St. Stephens Day Vehicle Run and to all who kindly sponsored and supported our Raffle. Once again it proved a wonderful success raising €4450. This year Motor Neuron was our main Charity and is to receive €2,000. Gortnahoe Prayer Garden and Glengoole Resource Centre are to receive €700 each. Ballysloe N.S. €450, Ballysloe Tidy Towns €400 & Civil Defence €200. We would like to thank all volunteers and look forward to next year again.
