Gortnahoe Confessions starting at 7.30. Mass at 8.00
Chrism Mass
Annual Chrism Mass will be in The Cathedral, on Wednesday night at 7.30. at which the Holy Oils for the year in the archdiocese will be blessed. Come along to represent your family and the parish.
Holy Thursday
Mass of the Lord’s Supper in both Churches at 8.00. Please bring your Trocaire contributions, in notes rather than coin if possible. Sincerest thanks to Gortnahoe School for their great contribution of €3,550 to the Trocaire Charity. Procession to the Altar of Repose after Mass, followed by Confessions. Please come to a Holy Hour in each church at 10.00 to 11.00
Good Friday
Day of fast and abstinence. Ceremonies in both Churches at 3.00 including the Passion, Adoration of the Cross and Holy Communion.
Stations of the Cross in both Churches at 7.30. A Collection for the Holy Places will be taken up at both ceremonies. Confessions after ceremonies.
Holy Saturday
Confession in Glengoole at 12.00 and in Gortnahoe at 12.30.
Vigil Ceremonies and Easter Mass at 9.00 in both Churches, includes Easter Fire, blessing of Paschal Candle and Easter Water, renewal of our baptismal promises and the Easter Mass. No Masses at 6.30 or 7.45.
Easter Sunday
Glengoole at 10.00 and Gortnahoe at 11.15.
Dawn Mass in Fennor Cemetery and Centenary celebrations at 6.00.
Dawn Mass on Easter Sunday morning at 6.00 (New Time) in Fennor cemetery to commemorate the anniversary of the 1916 Rising. After Mass the Irish Flag will be raised, followed by the reading of the Proclamation.
Priests Collection
The Easter Clergy Collection will be taken up at all Masses on Easter week-end. Everyone is asked to contribute generously, remembering that there are still only four Clergy Collections in the year Envelopes were distributed in January. We ask the usual collectors to attend.
Adoration
No organised Adoration this week.
Reflection for the Holy Year of Mercy
Reflection: Be aware that Gods greatest show of mercy and forgiveness for us is by going to Confession.
Commemorative Plaque to Patsy Fitzgerald
Unveiling of Commemorative Plaque to Patsy Fitzgerald, Poynstown to acknowledge his athletic achievements will be in Glengoole Community Field on Easter Sunday at 12.00. Everyone is invited. Refreshments in Hall.

No Club Day in March. Bus Trip to Carlow on Wednesday 30th March, leaving the Hall at 1.30. Names to Ann Stokes.
Gortnahoe-Glengoole Camogie Club
Just two weeks left to the Annual 5k walk/run on Sunday 3rd April. Starts from Gortnahoe Hall at 1pm sharp. Entry €10.00 per person. €20.00 for a family.

7K Walk/Run on Good Friday
7K Walk/Run on Good Friday 25th March at 12.00. with Easter Egg hunt for children. Registration at the Centre at 11.30 €15for family, €10 single.
