Gortnahoe First Communion
First Communion in Gortnahoe Church will be on Saturday next 16th May at 11.00. Please remember the children and their families in your prayers during this week.
Gortnahoe Offertory Collectors
To help the involvement of more people in the parish and at masses, we invite more people to be willing and volunteer to act as Collectors at week-end Masses in Gortnahoe Church. We ask that volunteer leaflets be returned to the boxes or the Offertory basket this week-end.
May Procession
The annual May Procession organised by the Legion of Mary will take place after the 10.00 Mass in Glengoole next Sunday morning May 17th. This is our special way of showing honour to our Mother Mary and this year we invite the First Communion children in the parish and their families to take a special place in this Procession.
Farewell Celebration for Fr. O’Keeffe
Everyone is invited to a Mass in Gortnahoe Church on Sunday night 24th May at 7.00 and to refreshments afterwards in Gortnahoe Community Centre, to give Fr. O’Keeffe an opportunity to say farewell to all his friends and parishioners and to give us the chance to express our gratitude to him for all his work as curate in the parish..
Retreat

Church Gate Collection
Please support a Church Gate Collection organised by the Thurles Friends of the children of Chernobyl on May 9th and 10th.
Juvenile G.A.A.
To commemorate 125 years since the foundation of the G.A.A., a special afternoon of Gaelic games will take place at the Club Grounds in Gortnahoe on this Sunday 10th May at 12.00. All juvenile players are welcome to participate. One match not to be missed is the meeting of the U 14s/U 16s V their Daddies.
Glengoole Community Development Association Meeting
The A.G.M. of Glengoole Community Development Association will take place in the Family Resource Centre, Glengoole on Monday 11th May at 8.30. All are most welcome.
