Sale of Work
The Annual Sale of Work for Gortnahoe Community Hall will take place on this Sunday 6th December, starting at 1.30.. Prizes on the Wheel of Fortune will be fuel, TV hampers, Nintendo WII with games and the Nintendo DS with games and other great prizes. Santa will arrive at 2.00. Teas served.
Parish Annual
The Parish Annual is now on sale, in the shops and Post Offices and after Masses this week-end. It is a beautiful book, bigger than ever this year. It still only costs € 8.00. Make sure you get your copies in good time as they all sold out last year. A beautiful gift to people from the parish living elsewhere.
Glengoole Senior Citizens Christmas Party

St. Vincent de Paul Society
The Annual Collection for the Society will be taken up next will be taken up next week-end, 12th & 13th December. Please support such a worthy cause as generously as you can.

Lecture
“Myth, Legend and Lore of Ancient Ireland” in the Heritage Centre, Killenaule on Wednesday 9th Dec. at 8.00, given by Fr. Sean O Duinn of Glenstal Abbey. Admission € 5.00. Refreshments served. A lovely night.
Drama
Glengoole-Gortnahoe Drama Group will stage two very successful One-Act comedies, “Costa Del Packet” and “Time for a Break” in Gortnahoe Community Centre on Sunday 20th December at 8.30. Admission Adults €10 Children €5 Proceeds to Gortnahoe Community Field Development Fund..
