Feast
Saturday next, 17th March, the Feast of St. Patrick, our patron saint, is a holy day of Obligation. Masses in Glengoole on Friday night at 6.30 and Saturday at 10.00 and in Gortnahoe on Friday at 7.45 and Saturday at 11.15. The week-end Masses will be at the usual times.
Honouring St. Patrick at St. Patrick's Well at Ballinalackin
Everyone is invited to a short prayer service in Ballinalacken cemetery, beside St. Patrick's newly restored Well, at 3.00 on St. Patrick's Day.
Farewell for Fr. Joe
A meeting to arrange the catering for Fr. Joe's Farewell Night will be held on Tuesday 13th March at 7.30 in Gortnahoe Community Hall. All help most welcome.

There is a sponsored charity cycle taking place from Gortnahoe on 13th May and for online registration go to www.gortnahoe.com website.
Thanks
Ballynonty Garden of Remembrance Committee thanks all for their generosity to the Church Gate Collection. € 460.00 was collected. Also your generosity for the Sale of Work which made €3,000. A meeting of the Committee will be in the Community House on Monday night at 8.00 and the Opening of the Garden of Remembrance is on Monday March 19th at 2.00.
Epilepsy Collection Thanks
€353 was donated to the Epilepsy Collection in Glengoole.
Eucharistic Adoration
Eucharistic Adoration continues every Wednesday in Glengoole Church from 10.00 am to 10.00 pm. On Thursday in Gortnahoe Church from 10.00 am to 10.00 pm. Thanks to all of you who are fulfilling your hour every week. All interested in committing to a specific hour, please contact a committee member or ring 086 0815361.
Spiritual Reflection Night
Spiritual Reflection Night for all parishioners who are involved in the different voluntary organisations in our churches and in the parish will be held in Gortnahoe Community Centre on this Monday 12th March from 8.00 to 9.00 followed by a cup of tea. It will be conducted by Fr. Ollie Maher, P.P. Urlingford. Last year this night was a most inspiring and fruitful night. Come along this year and feel the strength of our parishioners working together.
Trocaire envelopes
Trocaire envelopes are available at the end of the Churches. Contribute generously to the charity throughout Lent.

Gortnahoe-Glengoole Parish Prayer Book can be purchased in our churches and in Gortnahoe Post office. Cost € 2.00.
GAA Lotto
There was no winner of the €6,600 Jackpot on 8th March in Prouts. The numbers drawn were 1, 6, 10 and 17.
