November Family Masses
To enable people be present in each end of the parish to pray for their dead buried there, the November Family Masses will be in Gortnahoe this Sun. 6th November and Glengoole on Sunday 13th November. The Theme of the Masses will be ‘In November we Remember’.

Remembering our Dead
Masses for the repose of all your dead will be offered in the parish during the month of November

Year of Mercy Reflection
Corporal work of Mercy; Bury the dead: Even after the burial, we haven’t finished ‘burying the dead’ There are still the broken hearts of the bereaved that need caring. Action: Bring some solace to a recently bereaved person, by a letter, sending a card or a call.

400 Club Parish Development New Draw
The first Draw will be in Glengoole Hall on Monday 14th November at 8.00..A Meeting of Promoters is on this Monday night in Gortnahoe at 8.30. As we are coming so close to the first Draw, a word to all promoters. As all members for this year’s Draw have to be recorded, and arranged, make sure to bring all cards and money to the Meeting this Monday night 7th November in Gortnahoe Hall at 8.00. To all supporters of the Draw make sure you have joined and given the money to your promoter in time for this Monday night’s Meeting. The very best of luck to all on Monday 14th November. Be sure to be a member.

Eucharistic Adoration
Glengoole: Wednesday from 10.00 to 8.00.
Gortnahoe: Thursday, Adoration, 10.00 to 7.00.

Celebration of 80th Birthday
Parishioners are invited to the celebration of Fr. O’Rourke’s 80th birthday, with Mass in Glengoole Church at 7.00 on Friday 11th November, followed by refreshments in Glengoole Hall.

Ballysloe Tidy Towns
Support Ballysloe Tidy Towns Coffee Morning in Glengoole Hall on Sunday 6th Nov. for Evan Hearne Fund . Support with confectionary.

Mass of Thanksgiving
Year of Mercy Ending Mass of Thanksgiving will be in the Cathedral, Thurles on Sunday 20th November. All people of the diocese are invited to come in procession for a distance to the Mass at 2.30.

St. Vincent de Paul Society
Thanks from St. Vincent de Paul Society for your wonderful support of their recent Raffle. The Annual Mass will be celebrated on Monday 7th Nov. at 7.30 in Ballysloe School.

Cake Sale/Coffee Morning in Gortnahoe Hall
Cake Sale/Coffee Morning on Sunday morning November 13th in Gortnahoe Hall, from 11.30 onwards hosted by two local girls, Erika Carroll and Rachel Bergin, in aid of Hope Foundation. Results of Colouring Competition will be announced that morning.

Cookery Demonstration
Christmas Cookery Demonstration will be in MFRC, Glengoole on Thursday mornings, 8th & 15th December, starting at 10.00. Places are limited. Ring 052 91 57992 to book.
