Church Collection for Education of Priests
Annual Church Collection for Education of Priests will be taken up next week-end, 26th & 27th May. Please give generously. Envelopes for the Collection were distributed at the beginning of the year.

400 Club Development Fund May Draw
Gortnahoe Glengoole 400 Club Development Fund May Draw will be on Monday 21st May in Glengoole Hall at 8.00. Come along and support .

First Communion children
Congratulations to the First Communion children of Gortnahoe School. May God’s Blessing be on them, their families and their teachers.

Annual May Procession on Sunday next 27th May
Annual May Procession will take place in Glengoole church after the 10.00 Mass on Sunday next 27th May. A special invitation and involvement of all the children who received their First Communion this year. Come along.

Adoration
Glengoole: Wednesday from 10.00 to 8.00.
Gortnahoe Thursday from 10.00 to 7.00.

Protection of all Life
As we come to the Referendum on Friday 25th, once again read the Pastoral Letter of Archbishop O’Reilly and try to vote for the protection of all life from conception to death.

Church Gate Collection for Cancer Society
Irish Cancer Society Church Gate Collection is on this Saturday and Sunday 19th and 20th May Please be generous in your support.

MFRC
Glengoole Childcare will hold an Open/Enrolment day on Friday 25th May, 1pm to 3pm. If you have a child born in 2015 they will qualify for 2 free ECCE preschool years. Children born in 2014 will qualify for one year. More information on all such matters will be available on that day.

Community Playgroup are now taking enrolments
Gortnahoe Community Playgroup are now taking enrolments for September 2018. Parents of children aged 2 years and 10 months can call to the Playgroup or contact Stella on 056 883484900 / 087 6509625 for details.

St. Vincent de Paul Meeting
St. Vincent de Paul Society Meeting will be on Monday 21st May at 7.30. The Society wish to sincerely thank everyone who generously supported their Table Quiz in Ballysloe. €1,025 was raised and will certainly be put to good use in our community.

Thanks for all the generosity
Nic and Caitriona would like to say a huge thank you for all the generosity and hard work by so many people involved in the inaugural Emily Wilson Memorial Camogie Tournament on 13th May. We salute the girls on the Gortnahoe-Glengoole U16 Camogie Team – Emily’s friends and peers – who played with such passion and of whom we are all very proud.

Meeting for Lay missionaries and volunteers
Meeting for returned Lay missionaries and volunteers will be on Wednesday 23rd May at Cabragh Wetlands, Thurles. All are welcome. The meeting and Walk will commence at Cabragh Wetlands at 7 pm.

Youth Pilgrimage to Lough Derg
National Youth Pilgrimage to Lough Derg will take place from 22nd to 24th June. This is first time undertaking in the country, so there is space for just a couple. Please give your name to either priest.
