Cemetery Mass:
Mass in Fennor will be on Thursday next 10th August at 7.30. A very warm welcome to everyone.
Mass in Boulick will be on Tuesday 15th August at 7.00.
Meeting:
Everyone with an association with Boulick cemetery is invited to a meeting in the G.A.A. Club Rooms on Tuesday night 8th August at 8.30 to make arrangements for the Mass on Tuesday 15th August.
Church Fund:
We make a final appeal for all money committed for the first year of contributions for the Church Restoration Fund, as the second year has begun this month. We ask all collectors and parishioners to ensure all Year One contributions are made this week. It is great that the work has started in such beautiful weather and we ask that you take special care on your way to and from the church to avoid all accidents.
The members of the committee are reminded that the meeting arranged for Wednesday night next is postponed until Thursday night 10th August at 9.30, because of the Munster Under 21 Final in Thurles on Wednesday.
Acting:
A training course for actors on stage with cameras etc. will be held in The Anner Hotel, Thurles on 26th and 27th August from 12.00 to 7.30 p.m. Book early, as only ten places in total on the course. Enquiries to 07491 26994.
Thanks:
The committee of Gortnahoe Community Association wish to thank most sincerely the County Council for the beautiful work done on the forecourt of the Hall. It makes all events in the Hall perfectly safe and easily accessed.
Fennor Group Water Scheme:
The official Opening and Blessing of the new pump house, water treatment works and access road for the Fennor Group Water Scheme will take place on Thursday 7th September at 6.30 at the pump house. Minister for State at the Department of the Environment, Mr Batt O’Keeffe, will perform the opening ceremony.
