Morning Masses
Glengoole: each morning at 9.30am.
Gortnahoe: each morning at 9.30am.

Mass Times
Beginning this weekend, 2nd & 3rd September, the weekend Masses are in Glengoole on Saturday at 7.00pm and on Sunday at 9.30am and 11.00am and in Gortnahoe on Saturday at 7.30pm and Sunday at 11.00am.

Baptism Joy
We welcome into our Christian Community the following who were baptised during August: Finnian Michael Phelan, Gortnahoe and Heather Cadhla Morris, Poynstown.

Wedding Bliss
We offer our sincerest congratulations and best wishes to the following who were married during August:  Thomas Loughnane, Clonmeen and Helena Fennelly, Bawnreigh; Thomas Patten, Scotland and Kathleen Tone, Fennor.

Pre-School
Gortnahoe Community Playschool will re-open on Tuesday 5th September from 9.30am to 12 noon. All children from the age of two years and ten months to six years are welcome. Enrolment on the day

Autism
If you are a parent of a child with an ASD aged between 4-14 years and have searched for information in relation to your child’s ASD, then please consider participating in a study by contacting Tara Murphy at tmurphy3@tcd.ie or on 087-4119278.

Fennor Water Scheme
All are invited to the official opening ceremony and blessing of the new pump house, access road and treatment works at Fennor Pump House on Thursday next 7th September at 6.30pm. The opening will be performed by Minister Batt O’Keeffe, T.D. It marks the 25th Anniversary of the Scheme. Refreshments are at Mary Willies afterwards. 

Meeting
There will be a meeting of Gortnahoe Senior Citizens Committee on Wednesday night at 8.30. All members please attend.

Gortnahoe Glengoole GAA Notes

Intermediate Hurling
We defeated Drom Inch last Sunday evening to qualify for the Mid Final for the first time in four years. Our opponents in the final will be MoycarkeyBorris whom we play on Saturday the 16th in Holycross.

Junior Hurling
Preparations continue for the upcoming Mid Semi Final which has yet to be fixed. In the past week we have played Rosegreen and Killenaule. Training continues at the appointed times and all players are requested to attend.

Buster Draw
Our annual fundraiser takes place on Saturday the 9th in Hogans, Ballysloe. Music on the night will be provided by local musicians and support would be appreciated on the night. Tickets for draw are available from any player or committee member and you are asked to support this draw.

Committee Meeting
Our monthly committee meeting will take place on Tuesday night at 9.15pm in the clubrooms. All committee members are asked to attend.

Best of luck
All within the club wish Martin Gleeson(selector) and the Tipperary Minor team the best of luck in the All Ireland. The last time Tipperary won the Minor title was in 1996 when John Teehan(Grange) played at left half back.
