Morning Masses

St. Vincent de Paul Meeting
There will be a meeting of the St. Vincent de Paul Conference on Tuesday night at 7.30. The Annual Collection is on this week-end. 

Gortnahoe Folk Choir
There will be practice on Wednesday 13th Dec. in the Hall at 8.00, in preparation for Christmas Eve.

Spiritual Preparation for Christmas
Come aside and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas at the liturgy in St. Patrick’s College, Thurles, prepared by the students on Wed. 13th Dec. from 7.30 to 8.30.All welcome.

Vocations
We again encourage prayer for vocations. The Chalice Programme is in progress. If the chalice is in your home please return it to the sacristy. Give your family name to the priests to undertake a week of prayer for vocations to the priesthood and religious life.

Thanks
The committee of Gortnahoe Community Association would like to thank everyone who attended the Sale of Work last Sunday. A sincere thanks to each household and business in the parish and outside who supported the Sale of Work either by donating items for the Wheel of Fortune or sponsorship

Church Restoration Funds
As well as subscriptions from each home in the parish we encourage support from groups and organisations. Already we have received most generous support from Kilcooley Church of Ireland Parish and from the Cashel Region of the Pioneer Association.

A very special Bingo night is being organised by Gortnahoe Community Association on Saturday 23rd December in aid of the Gortnahoe Church Restoration Fund. They look forward to full support from parishioners, Bingo players and others. Wonderful prizes for the Bingo and the raffle.

Parish Annual
The Parish Annual is now available and is on sale in the church and in the local shops. It is a great read and a beautiful gift to those who have left the parish. The cost is € 7.00.

Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes
The annual Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes will be from 16th to 21st June 2007. Full details in Church Porch. Think about preparing now

Table Quiz
Gortnahoe-Glengoole Juvenile G.A.A. will hold  a Table Quiz in Mary Willies on. Friday 15th December at 9.30. Table of four € 20.00. Come along and enjoy it.

Good Shepherd Cemetery
The main gates of the cemetery will be locked for the future. For entry the key can be got from Christopher Walsh.
