Glengoole Choir
Practice of Glengoole Choir in preparation for Easter will be in Glengoole Church on Wednesday night at 8.00. All singers please come.
Talk by Dr. Joe Putti
Set Thursday night next 22nd March aside to come to a very special Talk and discussion by Dr. Joe Putti, a qualified and experienced teacher of religion and theology, entitled “Taking responsibility for our Faith”, organised by the Parish Renewal and Development Group, in Gortnahoe Hall from 8.00 to 9.30.. This is a most important part of our Lent.
St. Vincent de Paul Conference Meeting
There will be a meeting of the St. Vincent de Paul Conference on Tuesday night in Ballysloe School at 7.30.
Church Funds
A Table Quiz, in aid of Gortnahoe Church Restoration Fund, organised by the Gortnahoe-Glengoole Senior and Juvenile G.A.A. Clubs will be held in Mary Willies on Friday 13th April. Please help with its organisation and give your support. A Raffle in aid of the Gortnahoe Church Restoration Funds is being organised by the Gortnahoe-Glengoole Gun Club. The Draw will be on Easter Sunday night. We also say sincerest thanks to the commercial Firms, Services and Public Professions who have responded so generously to our recent request.
Gortnahoe Senior Citizens
The monthly Get-Together will be on Tuesday 27th March. Ring Ring-A-Link if you require transport. G.A.A. A Club Committee meeting will be held in the Club Rooms on Thursday night next at 7.45.
Summer Camp
Glengoole and Ballysloe N.S. Summer Camp meeting on 27th March at 11.15 in the Millennium Family Resource Centre. Parents are requested to attend as the Camp, so much enjoyed by the children, cannot go ahead without parental involvement.
Scor
Well done to our Set and Figure Dancers who have qualified for the Mid Final of Scor na bPàistí. The Mid Final will be held on Fri. 23rd March in Drom.
