Morning Masses
Glengoole: Tuesday and Wednesday at 9.30.
Gortnahoe: each morning except Friday at 9.30
Change of Mass Times
Once again this year Mass times in the parish will change for the summer beginning on the week-end of June 2nd and 3rd. In Gortnahoe the Saturday evening Mass will be at 7.00 and the Sunday morning Mass will be at 11.30. In Glengoole the Saturday evening Mass will be at 8.00 and the Sunday morning Mass will be at 10.30. This is a change on Saturday evenings from other years. Gortnahoe Church will be closed for interior work shortly, so it will be necessary to have the Masses in the Community Centre and 7.00 is the only possible time for Saturday evening Masses.
First Thursday
Confessions 6.30. Mass 7.00
First Friday
Glengoole: Confessions 6.30. Mass 7.00
Gortnahoe: Confessions 7.30. Mass 8.00.
First Saturday
Gortnahoe: Devotions and Mass of Reparation at 9.30.
Collection
The annual Collection for the education of priests and students will be taken up next week-end. Please contribute generously. Envelopes were distributed.
Cemetery Mass
The annual Mass in Aglish Cemetery will be on Sunday 3rd June at 3.00.
Meeting
There will be a meeting of St. Vincent de Paul Conference on Tuesday at 7.30 in Ballysloe School.
Gortnahoe Senior Citizens
Gortnahoe Senior Citizens monthly Get-Together will be on Tuesday next at 2.30 in Gortnahoe Hall. All are invited.
Glengoole School
Enrolment of new pupils in Glengoole School will take place on Monday next in the school.
G.A.A. Fashion Show
All roads will lead to Gortnahoe Hall on Friday night 8th June at 9.00 for a celebrity Fashion Show and Cheese and Wine Reception. Make sure you get your tickets from Club officials or Vincent Ryan’s Shop.
Juvenile Morning
On Saturday morning 9th June there will be a chance for all juvenile players to meet Shane Long from 11.00 to 12.00 in the G.A.A. Field.
Clothing Collection
There will be a collection of used clothing to aid the Missions on Wednesday next at Gortnahoe and Glengoole Halls. Please leave bags of clothing at the Halls between 9.00 and 12.00.
