Feast
Wednesday next 17th March is the Feast of St. Patrick, a Holyday of Obligation. Masses Glengoole Tuesday at 6.30 & Wednesday at 10am and Gortnahoe Tuesday at 7.45 & Wednesday at 11.15am.
Gortnahoe Church Choir
In preparation for Easter all members and singers are invited to a practice in Gortnahoe Church on Friday night at 8.00.
New Liturgy Group for Glengoole
Meeting this Monday night 15th March at 8.00 in Glengoole Church. All are welcome.
Church Sanctuary Decorations
Our heartfelt thanks to Eileen and Nonie for their many years of providing decorations for the sanctuaries in Gortnahoe and Glengoole Churches. As they can no longer continue this work, we invite volunteers to give their names to Fr. O’Rourke or Fr. Walsh, to join those who are already willing to be part of a group of helpers.
Roof restoration and ancillary work to Gortnahoe Parochial House
Any contractor who wishes to receive conditions of contract, plans, specification, etc., please give notice of their interest to Fr. O’Rourke by 19th March.

Disco
A St. Patrick’s Day Fancy Dress Disco for all Primary School children takes place in Gortnahoe Hall on Tuesday 16th in aid of Trocaire from 7.00 to 9.00. Admission € 3.00.
Week-end Retreat
Week-end Retreat in Preparation for Holy Week will be held in the Pallottine Retreat House, Thurles from 26th to 28th March. Phone Fr. O’Hara 0504 23678.
Clothes Collection for the Missions
Collection of bags will be from Gortnahoe and Glengoole Halls on Thursday 18th March. Leave before 12.00.
Drama
Glengoole-Gortnahoe will stage two one-act comedies, Costa del Packet and Time for a Break in Gortnahoe Hall on Friday 19th March at 8.30. All proceeds in aid of Trocaire. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
