May Devotions
Rosary and Benediction in Gortnahoe this Sunday at 7.00, marking this Sunday as Communications Sunday and also Family Week-End.

Morning Masses
Glengoole: each morning at 9.30.
Gortnahoe: each morning at 9.30.

First Communion
First Communion for the children of Gortnahoe School will take place on Saturday next at 11.00. Please remember them in your prayers.

Thanks
Sincerest thanks to all who made the Mass for those doing examinations such a prayerful occasion. Please continue your prayers.

Parish Annual

Gortnahoe Senior Citizens
The monthly Get-Together will be on Tuesday next 18th May in Gortnahoe Hall at 2.30.

Community Games
Community Games in the new Community Field on Monday 17th at 7.00. Races from U. 6 to U. 16. Come along and have fun. All are welcome.

Sudden Infant Death Syndrome
Fund Raising for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) in memory of Maire Gayson in Dolly’s Bar, Glengoole on Sunday 16th May. Music from 4.00 to 9.00

Tipperary GAA Clubs Draw 2010-2011
Anybody interested in joining this Draw, (with 50% retained by local GAA Club), should contact any Club Officer within the next week. We thank the existing members for their support & we encourage new members to join as this is the main source of Income for Gortnahoe/Glengoole GAA Club.

Garden Fete
The Annual Garden Fete at Presentation Secondary School, Thurles takes place on Sunday 23rd May at 2.00 in the School Grounds. Many Side Shows, Wheel of Fortune, Book & DVD Stall, etc. All are welcome.

Open Air Musical
Oklahoma Open Air Musical in Boherlahan will be from 3rd to 7th June. Tickets from 0504 41104 from 9.00 to 7.00 or www.cashelartsfest.com/music.php

Tennis Camp
Summer Junior Tennis Camp in Colaiste Mhuire, Johnstown from 12th to 16th July. For further information contact Brian Doyle at 056 8831135

Gortnahoe Community Field
Gortnahoe Community Field is now up and running and any club wishing to use the facility can make their booking through Martyna Lyons at 083 3791437.

Gortnahoe Youths F.C.
The Soccer Club will have training this Friday night 21st May from 7.00 to 8.00. The Club caters for Primary School children. Membership still open. Cost per session is € 2.00.

Function
A retirement function will be head in Ballingarry Hall on May 28th next, for your former councellor, Susan Maher. Music by Crackers, 9pm. Limited number of tickets are still available from Seamus Troy or Paddy Ryan.
