Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
Weekly Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in Glengoole Church on Wednesday from 10.00 to 8.00 and Gortnahoe Church on Thursday from 10.00 to 7.00. We encourage as many as possible to visit Jesus.
New year of 400 Club
Parish Team Meeting to start the organising of the new year of the 400 Club which begins in November will be in Gortnahoe Hall on Wednesday at 8.00. A special invitation to all promoters to come and help the organising..

Parish Annual 2015
Work of preparation in now well underway. Make sure that all photographs and reports are being organised and got ready for being forwarded this week. The final date for receiving everything to be included in this year’s Parish Newsletter is Friday 23rd October, but the sooner material is with the editorial team the better. The special feature this year is focusing on the 1960s in the world and especially in the parish. Once again photographs of that period most welcome. The next Parish Annual Meeting is on Monday night next 5th October in Fr. O’Rourke’s House at 8.00.
Anniversary Bingo
The Anniversary Gortnahoe Bingo will take place on Saturday 17th October at 8.30. Over €2,500 in Prize Money, plus bonus and Lucky Line. All are welcome.
Lotto Results
There was no winner of this week’s Jackpot. Numbers drawn were 6, 10, 13, 15. Lucky Dip Winners were Lisa Crawford Rohan, Grange, Edel Campion, Graiguewood, Gary Peters, Urlingford, Mick Flynn, Gortnahoe. Seller’s Prize was to Keith Holohan. Next Draw is on 8th Oct. at Hogan’s, Ballysloe. Jackpot is €20,000. Reserve Jackpot is €9,000.
Cake Sale in Glengoole Hall
Glengoole Tidy Towns are having a Cake Sale in Glengoole Hall on Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th after Mass. All donations of cakes, buns, breads and tarts are kindly accepted and much appreciated. Thank you.
