The October Priests Collection Sincerest thanks to all who contributed last week-end. If you have overlooked it, please contribute as soon as possible.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
Weekly Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in Glengoole Church on Wednesday from 10.00 to 8.00 and Gortnahoe Church on Thursday from 10.00 to 7.00. We encourage as many as possible to visit Jesus.

Parish Development Fund 400 Club Draw
As we are now organising the second year of the Draw We wish that everyone who was part of the Draw last year and understands its organisation, namely that it is a Draw confined to 400 members, will contact their present promoter to enrol and contribute their €50.00 as soon as possible and also all those who wish as new members to join would contact a promoter or either priest without delay..

Parish Annual 2015
Make sure that all photographs and reports are being organised and got ready for being forwarded this week. The final date for receiving everything to be included in this year’s Parish Newsletter is Friday 23rd October.

Bingo
The Anniversary Gortnahoe Bingo will take place on Saturday 17th October at 8.30. Over €2,500 in Prize Money, plus bonus and Lucky Line. All are welcome.

Gortnahoe Senior Citizens
The Club has a limited number of tickets for Mike Denver in Clonmel Park Hotel on Monday 9th November. Cost €32.00, including bus. Names immediately to Post Office.

Lotto Results
There was no winner of this week’s Jackpot. Numbers drawn were 10, 20, 22, 28. Lucky Dip Winners were Karen, Aoife & Aisling Gleeson, Coole, John Purcell, The Commons, Margaret Dunne, The Commons, Statia Quinlan, Urard. Seller’s Prize was Delaneys, Glengoole. Next Draw is on 15th Oct. at Hogan’s, Grange. Jackpot is €20,000. Reserve Jackpot is €9,200.

Small increase in Catholic Paper price
The Irish Catholic now costs €1.80 each week, a small increase.

MFRC Glengoole
Ear Candling will take place there on Friday 23rd October. It is a pleasant non-invasive treatment that can help to promote an enhanced state of health. Appointment necessary. Contact Elaine at 086 3356808.
