Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
Weekly Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in Glengoole Church on Wednesday from 10.00 to 8.00 and Gortnahoe Church on Thursday from 10.00 to 7.00. We encourage as many as possible to visit Jesus.

November Dead List
November Lists of your Dead should be handed in at Masses next week-end to ensure that they are included in all Masses and prayers during November.

Parish Development Fund 400 Club Draw
As we are now organising the second year of the Draw We wish that everyone who was part of the Draw last year and understands its organisation, namely that it is a Draw confined to 400 members, will contact their present promoter to enrol and contribute their €50.00 as soon as possible and also all those who wish as new members to join would contact a promoter or either priest without delay. Organising Meeting for the next year of the 400 Club Draw and the Draw for October will be in Glengoole Hall on Monday next 19th at 8.00.

Parish Annual 2015
Make sure that all photographs and reports are being organised and got ready for being forwarded early this week. The final date for receiving everything to be included in this year’s Parish Newsletter is Friday 23rd October. Next Draw meeting is a Fr. O’Rourke’s on Tuesday 20th at 8.00

Text Alert Church Gate Collection
Text Alert Annual Church Gate Collection will be taken up next week-end, 24th & 25th October. We should appreciate how important it is to alert Gardai who will text all members of Community Alert when anything suspicious is happening in the locality, so please support the Collection.

St. Vincent de Paul Society
St. Vincent de Paul Society Meeting Monday 19th in Ballysloe School 7.30.

Lotto Results
There was no winner of this week’s Jackpot. Numbers drawn were 1, 11, 13, 22. Lucky Dip Winners were William Hogan, Ballysloe, Melanie & Wayne Corbett, Killenaule. Grainne O’Gorman, Cork, Louise Guilfoyle, Urard. Sellers Prize was Helena Bourke, Graigaheesha. Next Draw on 22nd October in the Hall. Jackpot €20,000. Reserve Jackpot €9,400.

MFRC Glengoole
Ear Candling will take place there on Friday 23rd October. It is a pleasant non-invasive treatment that can help to promote an enhanced state of health. Appointment necessary. Contact Elaine at 086 3356808.

To establish this Association in the diocese come to a meeting at Lamh Cunta, Bothar na Naomh on Wednesday 21st at 7.30.
