Ecumenical Service in Kilcooley
The Annual Ecumenical Service is in Kilcooley Church on this Sunday 26th January at 7.00. A warm welcome to all to this Service and an invitation to join in the prayers and singing.

Family Mass
Family Mass for the month of February will be next Sunday 2nd February in Glengoole at 10.00 and Gortnahoe at 11.15. The theme for the Mass is the celebration of The Presentation of Jesus in the Temple and Candlemas.

Candles for Blessing
Candles for Masses and candles for blessing will be on sale in shops and at the end on Glengoole Church during the week. Please support.

Feast Day
Saturday next, 1st February is the Feast of St. Bridget. St. Bridget Crosses will be blessed at Masses on next Saturday evening.

Three-Hour Vigil
A three hour Vigil in Honour of Our Lady of Lourdes will be held in the Pallotine College, Thurles on Tuesday 11th February from 7.30 to 10.00.

Text Alert
South Tipperary Development Company is funding GPS Mapping for our area. Unique maps for our parish, which will show the GPS coordinates, will be presented to four key Emergency Services, namely the Ambulance Service, An Garda Siochana, Care Doc and the Fire Service. This will mean that finding any particular house where there is an emergency, requiring any of these services will be made much easier. What is needed from each family is a completed Letter of Consent. These Letters are being distributed at the moment. As the Mapping initiative is being funded there will be no cost to any household. All that is needed for inclusion is the completion and return of the Letter of Consent as soon as possible.

There was no winner of the €9,800 Jackpot. The numbers drawn were 3, 7, 15, and 29. Lucky Dip Winners were Maggie Holohan, Ballynonty, Mark Hayes c/o Kevin Slattery, Mary Teehan, Grangecastle, Sean Lyons, Gortnahoe. Sellers Prize winner was Wayne Corbett, Mellison. Next Draw on 30th January at Prouts for Jackpot of €10,000.00.

New Committee meet
Juvenile G.A.A. new committee will hold its first committee meeting on Thurs 30th Jan. at 8.30 in the Club Rooms. All members are asked to attend.

Bright Start Room
