Congratulations to the children from Gortnahoe School who received their First Communion on Saturday last. Congratulations also to their teachers and families. May the receiving of Jesus be always welcomed.

May Procession organised by Legion of Mary
Annual May Procession organised by the Legion of Mary will take place after the 10.00 Mass in Glengoole on Sunday next 25th May. May Our Lady be welcomed by all families and those attending Mass and the First Communion children and their families as she is brought through the village.

Catholic Creed course in Cork
Dominican Led Course on the Catholic Creed will be held on 9th to 14th June in Ballymaccoda, East Cork. No previous knowledge of philosophy is necessary. All materials will be provided. Contact Paul on 085 9093190.

There was no winner of the €12,800 jackpot last week. The numbers drawn were 4, 5, 10 and 22. Lucky Dip winners were Willie Hoey, Ballingarry, Eileen Guilfoyle, Urard, Christine Wall, Urlingford, Josephine Lanigan, Clonamondra. €25.00 winner was Ann Stokes. Next Draw 22nd May at Prouts. Clothes Recycling Collection
Glengoole United F.C. will hold a Clothes Recycling Collection in Glengoole on Saturday July 5th. All donations of unwanted clothes will be greatly appreciated. Full details next week.

Grange Badminton Club
We are doing a Clothes Collection in aid of the Club and would be grateful if you could donate any bags of clean clothes or household lines.
