Church Fund:
By now many families will have received an envelope marking the beginning of Year Two of the Church Fund. All families will have received them shortly. We hope our Fund Raising will not put too much of a burden on any home. We ask you to please make your subscription as soon as possible, either to your collector, to the priests or in the Sunday Offertory basket. The work on Stage One is well in progress and will include the storm glazing of the windows and outside painting. Stage Two, which will take place when the walls are dried out will involve the work of restoration needing to be done on the inside of the church and its suitable decoration, as well as the examination and work on the walls surrounding the church.

After The Leaving:
The results are now known. The parish congratulates all who have reached this important stage in their lives and best wishes in the future in whatever profession they choose to follow. While many will soon know what they will be doing next year and where, there will be others in the process of making up their minds about the future. We ask everyone to pray that our young people will be inspired to achieve a fruitful life. Earlier this year we launched the Chalice Programme of prayer, to give families a chance to devote a week of prayer for vocations to the priesthood. We ask all families to ensure that they have given their names to the priests or sacristans. The chalice and Prayer Booklets can then come to your home. We encourage young men and women to consider a vocation to the priesthood or religious life. Information and support can be got from the priests or from Rev. Pat Coffey, our Vocations Director at Presbytery, Doon, Co. Limerick.
