Devotions
October Devotions in Glengoole on Sunday at 7.00
Church Restoration
The sight of the reslating in progress on the Church in Gortnahoe and the work on the bell-cote nearing completion are the real signs of the progress of the work. The work is being done to the highest standards. At the meeting of the Restoration Committee during this week the greatest wish of the members was that everyone would be aware of the progress of the work and the need for keeping our target for funds at the level of generosity that it was at last year. The generous contributions of all parishioners are essential, as it is a big undertaking. Make sure you have paid your contributions as soon as possible to the collector for your area, to the priests or in the baskets.
Parish Annual
We are almost at the time for the sending of the manuscript of the Parish Annual to the printers. That means that all material for the book has to be collected, organised and set-up. Our request now is to all organisations and groups to ensure that your report and material for inclusion is with the editors within the next week. We ask all parishioners to consider including something in the Annual, whether articles, old photographs, which we very much welcome, poems or stories and all other items that make the Annual attractive for parishioners and many others far from Gortnahoe and Glengoole.

Rosary Prayer
O God, whose only-begotten Son, by his life, death and resurrection, has purchased for us the reward of eternal salvation, grant, we beseech Thee, that, meditating on these mysteries of the most holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain, and obtain what they promise. Through the same Christ, Our Lord. Amen.
