October Devotions in Glengoole on Sunday at 7.00
Feast Day
Wednesday is the Feast of All Saints, a Holy Day of Obligation.
Mass in Glengoole: Tuesday 7.00 Wednesday 9.30 & 11.00.
Mass in Gortnahoe: Tuesday 7.30 in Church. Wednesday 11.00 in the Hall
Holy Souls
Thursday is the Feast of the Holy Souls. Mass in Gortnahoe in Hall at 9.30 & Glengoole at 9.30 and 7.00 p.m.. A Plenary Indulgence can be gained each day from 1st to 8th Nov. for the Holy Souls by praying for the dead in the cemetery. A Mass will be offered each day in the parish as far as possible, for your dead during November. Please bring your list and offerings as soon as possible. The Mass for repose of everyone buried in Glengoole Church cemetery will be offered on Sunday 12th Nov. at 11.00.
Cemetery Prayers will be said on Wednesday next and all Sundays in Gortnahoe and Glengoole after 11.00 Mass, in Fennor, Boulick and Aglish, at 1.30 in Ballinalacken at 3.00 and in Johnstown at 2.30.
First Friday
Glengoole: Confessions 6.30. Mass 7.00.
Gortnahoe: Confessions 7.00. Mass 7.30 in the Hall.
First Saturday
Devotions of Reparation & Mass in Gortnahoe Hall 9.30
Folk Choir
There will be no practice this Wednesday, but there will be on the following Wednesday, in preparation for the Mass on November 25th.
Gortnahoe Senior Citizens
The next Club Day for Gortnahoe Senior Citizens will be on Tuesday 31st October. Remember to contact Ring-A-Link for transport.
Glengoole Senior Citizens
The next Club day for Glengoole Senior Citizens will be on Wednesday 1st November at 2.30. It will include Mass for all deceased members. Remember to contact Ring-A-Link for transport.
