Church Unity
The annual Week of Prayer fort Church Unity begins on Thursday next. The Ecumenical Service for Church Unity will be in Gortnahoe Church on Sunday 21st January at 7.00. A choir practice for the Service will be held in Gortnahoe Hall on Wednesday night next at 8.00.
Sacrament of Confirmation
Most Rev. Dr. Clifford will confer the Sacrament of Confirmation on the children of the parish on Friday 9th March in Glengoole Church. Please remember them and their families in your prayers from now until the confirmation ceremony.
CAO Information Evenings
CAO Information Evenings for students and parents will be hosted by Tipperary Institute in Thurles Campus on Wednesday 17th January from 6.00 to 8.00pm.
Night Classes
The enrolment night for Night Classes in Scoil Mhuire, Johnstown will be on Tuesday 23rd January from 7.30 to 8.30. Classes begin on Monday 29th January. A great range of classes is available.

The Annual General Meeting of Mary Willies Golf Society will be held on Friday 19th January at Mary Willies at 9.00pm.
Glengoole Drama Group
Glengoole Drama Group will stage two One Act plays, ‘Love and Acid Drops’ and ‘Dispensary Dan’ in Glengoole Hall on Friday 19th, Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st January, commencing at 8.30. Adults € 10.00. Children € 5.00. Family concessions on the night.
GAA Convention
The adjourned Convention of the Club will take place on Friday 26th January. Nominations for selectors for all grades can now be received.
The Dinner Dance will be on Friday 16th February in the Anner Hotel. Music by Midnight Run. Tickets available from Club officers, the Post Office and Vincent’s shop and P.J. Kavanagh’s public house.
Because of demand, club gear will again be available in the Community Hall, Gortnahoe on Friday 26th January from 6.30 to 8.00. Get your order in now.
The Juvenile Club will hold a Table Quiz in Mary Willies on Friday 26th at 10pm.
