FIRST SUNDAY OF LENT
25th February 2007

Devotions
Stations of the Cross and Benediction in each church Sunday at 7.00pm. 

Morning Masses
Glengoole: Monday and Wednesday at 9.30
Gortnahoe: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at 9.30.

First Thursday
Glengoole: Confessions at 6.30 and Mass at 7.00. 

First Friday
Glengoole: Confessions at 6.30 and Mass at 7.00.
Gortnahoe: Confessions at 7.00 and Mass at 7.30 in Hall

First Saturday
Gortnahoe: Devotions of Reparation and Mass at 9.30 in  Hall.

Prayer
Friday next, 2nd March is the annual Womens Day of Prayer. A Prayer Service will be in held in Kilcooley Church on Friday evening at 8.15. You are invited to a choir practice in Kilcooley Church on Wednesday evening at 7.30. 

Gortnahoe Church Restoration
A meeting of the Gortnahoe Church Restoration Committee will take place this Tuesday Night in Gortnahoe Church at 7pm. All members are requested to attend. A discussion will take place on the interior works. If you also are interested, you are most welcome. 

Annual 25Card Drive
The annual 25 Card Drive in aid of The Heart Foundation will be held on Wednesday night next in Gortnahoe Community Centre. €1,000 in prizes. A most enjoyable night for everyone, with great Raffle prizes also. 

Glengoole Senior Citizens Committee Meeting
There will be a meeting of Glengoole Senior Citizens Committee on Thursday night 1st March at 8.30 in Glengoole Hall. A warm welcome goes to Gortnahoe Senior Citizens  to the monthly party in Glengoole on 7th March.

Gortnahoe Senior Citizens Committee Meeting
There will be a meeting of Gortnahoe Senior Citizens Committee on Thursday night in Gortnahoe Hall at 8.30. All members are invited. 

Yoga Classes
Yoga Classes will commence on Tuesday 27th February in Presentation Secondary School, Ballingarry at 7.30 p.m.. Enrolment will take place fifteen minutes before class. All are welcome. 

Gortnahoe Bingo
Congratulations to the winner of the Jackpot in Gortnahoe Bingo last Saturday night. The big Jackpot of  € 1,000 is still there to be won. All welcome. 

Juvenile GAA
Training for Under 12 players in football and hurling will commence on Saturday 3rd March from 12.00 to 1.30. Training for Under 14s in football and hurling commences on Saturday 3rd March from 3.00 to 4.30.

Bereavement Course
The second night of the Bereavement Course will take place in St. Patrick’s College, Thurles on Monday February 26th at 7.30 dealing with the topics of; Looking at the experience of bereavement, Living with grief, Coping with Loss, and Supporting the Bereaved. The speaker will be Jim Rhattigan, Milford Hospice, Limerick.
