Devotions
Stations of the Cross and Benediction in Glengoole church on Sunday at 7.00
 

Morning Masses
Glengoole: each morning  at 9.30
Gortnahoe: each morning at 9.30.

Confirmation
His Grace the Archbishop, Dr. Dermot Clifford will confirm the children of the parish on Friday next 9th March. Confirmation will be in Glengoole Church at 11.00. It is a special day in the parish, so we invite everyone who can fit in Glengoole Church to the Confirmation ceremony. We ask you to pray for the children who will receive confirmation and their families. Please pray also for a nice fine day. 

Healing Service
A Healing Service will take place in St. Patrick’s College, Thurles on Monday 12th March at 8.00. It will be conducted by Fr. Jim Purcell. The ceremony will conclude at 9.00 and refreshments will be served. 

St. Vincent de Paul Meeting
There will be a meeting of the St. Vincent de Paul Society in Ballysloe School on Tuesday night at 7.30. 

Trocaire
You have probably received your Trocaire Box. Lent is the time when the Church invites us to be generous to people who are living in the Third World and need very much help. We should always be disturbed to see a child or adult at the point of death because of starvation. Ask God to inspire you towards real generosity during these few weeks of Lent and be proud of what you have to give on Holy Thursday to Trocaire. Extra boxes in Church porch. 

Grange Development Group Table Quiz
Grange Development Group will hold a Table Quiz in Hogans, Grange on Friday night 16th March at 9.30. All support will be appreciated. 

Senior Citizens Get-Together
The monthly Get-Together of Glengoole Senior Citizens will be on Wednesday next at 2.30. A very warm welcome is extended to the members of Gortnahoe Senior Citizens to that meeting. Any Senior Citizens of Gortnahoe or Glengoole who wishes to be brought is asked to contact Ring-A-Link by phone before mid-day on Tuesday at 1890 424141.

Slievenamon Camogie Club
Slievenamon Camogie Club are holding a Table Quiz in Kavanagh’s Pub, Glengoole on Friday night 9th March at 9.00. All support is appreciated. 

Card Drive
Sincerest thanks to all who gave such support to the Card Drive in Gortnahoe for the Heart Foundation on Wednesday night last. It was a wonderful success.

Juvenile GAA
Training for Under 12 players in football and hurling has  commenced on Saturdays from 12.00 to 1.30. Training for Under 14s  in football and hurling has commenced on Saturdays  from 3.00 to 4.30.
