No May Devotions
Because of the May Procession there will be no Devotions this Sunday

Morning Masses
Glengoole: each morning except Friday at 9.30.
Gortnahoe: Each morning at 9.30.

First Communion
Sincerest congratulations to all who received their First Communion in Gortnahoe this week-end and their families.

May Procession
The Annual May Procession organised by the members of the Legion of Mary, will take place in Glengoole this Sunday after the 10.00 Mass. A special welcome to all who received First Communion in the parish this year and their families.

Fund Raising for Glengoole Hall
A special campaign to raise funds for the upkeep and development of Glengoole Hall launched. The first fund raising event is a Sponsored Walk at Derryvilla Lake on Sunday 13th June at 2.00. Sponsorship cards for the Walk are available outside Glengoole Church after Masses, at Gortnahoe Church and from members of the Hall Committee. Please give your full support.

St. Vincent de Paul
St. Vincent de Paul Society meeting in Ballysloe School on Tuesday night 25th May at 7.30.

Gortnahoe Senior Citizens
Afternoon Outing on Tuesday 25th May. Bus leaving Gortnahoe Hall at 1.20, visiting Coolmore, South Tipperary Museum, Clonmel, with Evening Tea at Clonmel Park Hotel. Cost €10.00. Names to Post Office or any committee member before noon this Monday. A limited number of seats available.

Craic at The Back
The annual event is on Saturday 26th June at Mary Willies, commencing from 9 pm with Kenny Ryder, followed by Uisce Beatha. Dancing till late. Tickets currently on sale.

Garden Fete
Garden Fete will be held in Presentation Secondary School, Thurles this Sunday at 2.00 The outdoor event will include Wheel of Fortune, Bouncing Castles, Pony Rides, cake and Book stalls Flower stalls and many sports events.

Enrolments
New enrolments for Preschool in Glengoole will be held on 15th July in Family Resource Centre. Contact Christine at 052 9157992 for more information. Places are limited.

Field Trip to Lough Doire Bhile
Field Trip to Lough Doire Bhile on Monday 24th May 2010 6.00 to 8.00. Afterwards a Music Session and refreshments in Brennans Bar. Meet at Church in Glengoole/New Birmingham.

Retirement Function
A retirement function will be held in Ballingarry Hall on May 28th next, for your former councillor, Susan Meagher. Music by Crackers 9pm. Limited number of tickets are still available from Seamus Troy or Paddy Ryan.
