Gortnahoe Old School Building
Due to age and lack of use the old building has become a danger from falling slates in wind, etc. A public meeting will be held on this Monday night 23rd August at 8.30 in Gortnahoe Hall to decide on steps necessary regarding its future. Please consider the matter and come along.

Family Mass
We are hoping to begin a monthly Family Mass in our parish very soon. A meeting to organise this will take place on Thursday 26th August in Gortnahoe Hall at 8.00. You are very welcome to attend and be part of something new and exciting for our parish.

Cemetery Mass
Cemetery Mass in Ballinalacken on this Sunday 22nd August at 7.00.

Trocaire Collection for Pakistan
Please contribute generously to a Collection to help support the huge numbers so seriously affected by the monsoon rains in Pakistan. The Collection is being taken up this weekend, 21st & 22nd August. If you have overlooked it and you wish to contribute, please leave your contribution in the box or get an envelope at the end of the church and bring your contribution next weekend.

Coffee Morning
Coffee Morning and Cake Sale in aid of the Albanian Building Project Fund in Gortnahoe Hall on this Sunday 22nd August from 10.00 to 12.30. “Giving from the Heart the Hand that needs”. Your support is most appreciated.

Victory for Under 14s
Congratulations to our Under 14 Hurlers who are Mid Tipp Champions following their victory over Boherlahan on Tuesday last. Well done to all involved.

Altar Servers Outing
A great day was had by all young Altar Servers on their day trip with Fr. Joe. A massive thank you has to be extended to Fr. Joe and his helpers for giving the children a great day to remember.

Barbeque & Music
The Reen Music, Song, Dance and Craic on Saturday 28th August 2010 starting at 2.00, followed by Barbeque & Music in Buddies Bar, Glengoole.

Clonoulty Rossmore Vintage Rally
Clonoulty Rossmore Vintage Rally in aid of South Tipperary Hospice Movement will be in Clonoulty Village on Sunday 22nd starting at 12.00 Your support will be much appreciated.

Thanksgiving Prayer
Dear Jesus I thank you for all that I have. Sometimes I do not see all the great things in my life that I have had or do have this day; essentials like health and home, family and friends, food and water. So often I ask but never come back to say thanks. Jesus, my prayer today is one of thanks for all the good and great things in my life. May I one day in your presence thank you face to face for the gift of my life and hear the words ‘Well done good and faithful servant’. Thank you Jesus. Amen.
