Family Mass
We will begin a special monthly Family Mass in our Churches on the First Sunday in October. Our next meeting to organise this will take place on Tuesday 7th September in Gortnahoe Hall at 8.00. You are invited to attend and be part of something new and exciting for our parish and all our parishioners.

Holycross Novena
The Annual nine day Holycross Novena in honour of Our Lady will begin on Wednesday next 8th September. Full details of all sessions of the Novena are published in this week’s Tipperary Star.

Parish Annual
As we come much closer to publishing date for our Parish Annual, on this year when we aim to introduce new and attractive items, make sure that all organisations and groups provide attractive items for publications. We also invite photographs of all parishioners who were married this year, brief appreciations of our parishioners who died this year, photographs of events and people of years ago and any other, also articles on matters that were important in the parish. It all can make for a beautiful and attractive Annual.

Grants for Third Level Students
Generous grants for young people wishing to enter Third Level Colleges, to cover the cost of enrolment and help towards accommodation are available through the St. Vincent de Paul Society. If you are interested, please contact any member of the Society, the Vincent de Paul Conference number, 087 1482056 or Fr. O’Rourke.

Bible Study
Bible Study Course in Pallottine College, Thurles, beginning on Thursday 14th October and running for 8 consecutive nights, finishing on 2nd December. See church posters or book with Fr. John Egan at 087 0576169.

Blessed are you, God our Father, maker of the universe; you have sent Jesus to be our brother and to save us in your love. Bless all who begin the school year and help them in all they do for you. Let your Holy Spirit give them light and lead them to you through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
