Gluten Free Holy Communion
Gluten Free Holy Communion is available at all Masses.
Eucharistic Adoration
- Glengoole Wed 10am to 2pm
- Gortnahoe Thurs 10am to 1pm.
- Come sit awhile in silent prayer.
The Rosary
The Rosary will be recited before Mass in Glengoole every Saturday evening.
Exams
A candle will be lit in front of the altar in both Churches for all exam students doing the Junior & Leaving Certificate exams at this time.

Eucharistic Adoration Assembly Day for Archdiocese of Cashel and Emly
Apostolate of Eucharistic Adoration Assembly Day for Archdiocese of Cashel and Emly, in St Patrick’s College Thurles, 9.15am to 1pm, Saturday 28th June. Holy Mass, talk and discussion with Fr Vincent Stapleton and Fr Killian Henry. Refreshments at 12.30. All are welcome.
A Triduum of Hope to the Sacred Heart
A Triduum of Hope to the Sacred Heart takes place in St. John the Baptist Church, Cashel at 7.30pm each night with Mass, Benediction and a guest speaker.

Relics of Venerable Matt Talbot
The Relics of Venerable Matt Talbot The Order of the Knights of St. Columbanus are visiting Cathedrals and Churches throughout the various dioceses of Ireland, bringing the relics of VENERABLE MATT TALBOT for veneration.
Widely respected and regarded as the patron of those suffering from all types of addictions and their families, the relics of Venerable Matt Talbot will be arriving at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles, on Wednesday June 25th at 5pm, with Veneration continuing to 7pm, concluding with Mass at 7pm. This year is the Centenary Year of Venerable Matt Talbot's death. The relics consist of a first-class relic, some of his chains and his Rosary beads. All are very welcome.

Retirement Celebration
Retirement Celebration in recognition of Dr Eilis & Pat Maher, Marie Egan and Mary Fogarty and their 30 years of dedicated service to the community, a celebration will be held in St Kierans community Hall, Johnstown on 5th July @8. 30pm. All are welcome, young and old Refreshment on the night and music by Sweet Freedom.
Church Fundraiser/Holiday change
For the past 10 years, Fr. Walton has collected foreign coins from his fellow priests to convert into euro as a fundraiser for a priest who is building a 2nd Church in his parish in Iceland due to a growing Catholic population If over the coming months you’re travelling to USA, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Poland, U.A.E., Turkey, Ceska Republic, Ghana, Indonesia, South Africa, etc and require small change/coin, Fr. Walton will give what he has for a small donation in euro towards the Church in Iceland.

Today, the Feast of Corpus Christi, we celebrate the great gift which Jesus has bestowed on us, the spiritual nourishment that is His Body and Blood. We pray that, in uniting with him in the Eucharist, we are strengthened in our faith and love of God and neighbour.
